Under the unwritten truce/ceasefire that been reached between Israel and Hamas, Israel agreed to ease its blockade on the Gaza strip, which hurt the population of Gaza in what can be seen by them as a collective punishment for practicing democracy and voting for Hamas. To ease the blockade Israel should keep on opening the crossings to allow enough power and basic supplies to enter the strip, but instead the humanitarian conditions of the population of Gaza strip been going from bad to worse as independent Humanitarian organizations announced themselves. The truce was a success in the first 5 months, in the last month it started to collapse, until the 18th of December when Hamas refused to extend it. Israel violated the truce on several occasions but the truce succeeded to hold till the night of the US elections when they killed 6 Palestinians in Gaza in two separate events, Hamas replied by launching rockets on Southern Israel, this major violation of the truce has been described as Israeli officials as a “pinpoint operation intended to prevent an immediate threat” and that “there is no intention to disrupt the calm,” Clearly the killing of 6 Palestinians in Gaza would not only disrupt the calm but will be considered a major violation to the truce that Israel did not respect. This is in addition to the major violation in which Israel kept on its blockade on Gaza Strip, which been described by Amnesty International on November 18th, 2008 as a "collective punishment": "Israel's latest tightening of its blockade has made an already dire humanitarian situation markedly worse. This is nothing short of collective punishment on Gaza's civilian population and it must stop immediately," said Philip Luther, Deputy Director of Amnesty International's Middle East and North Africa Program." On December 8th Amnesty International urged Israeli authorities to allow basic supplies to enter the strip after the conditions there got worse: Amnesty International urges the Israeli authorities to allow the immediate passage of humanitarian aid, medical supplies and fuel to the Gaza Strip, where the situation is nothing short of a disaster. All the rockets that have been launched against Israel from Gaza strip were in reply for Israeli military operations or air strikes that resulted on killing more than 25 Palestinians during the so-called truce. Who wants to keep on a truce that gives the other side a free license to kill, and turn Gaza into an open air prison? In fact it’s nothing more than a collective punishment against the Palestinian people of Gaza for voting for Hamas, which is seen as a terrorist organization by some including Israel, as is the same with all other Palestinian organizations before Hamas who kept on their right to resist occupation. Israel has no interest in allowing the Palestinians to practice democracy and for their leadership, and they will support any Palestinian authority that will accept all their terms and who will accept their vision for a peace which is actually a complete and total surrender for the Palestinian people, the same Israel who put Arafat under siege until he died because he refused to accept their terms. It's the same Israel who used suicide bombings as an excuse for not putting an end for the occupation despite the first suicide bombing happened 27 years after the occupation, the current killing and continuous oppression will only result in more hate against Israel and will only give violence more space to grow, they should have learned by now after more than 60 years of expelling, massacring, killing and oppressing the Palestinian people that Palestinian people will stay on their land and will not accept to live under occupation, Some may say in a blind repeat to the Israeli propaganda that Israel has withdrawn from Gaza already, so why did the violence not stop? Not according to three independent reports: Harvard Study on Gaza Occupation and UN Report on Gaza Occupation HRW Report on Gaza Occupation Which clearly shows that Israel still occupying Gaza by controlling its air, sea, and land ports, and put them under closure at anytime they like, as we have seen, for more than 18 months before the truce Gaza suffered a serious shortage of medical supplies, which caused the death of some patients, and they could not go out the strip to get treatment outside, this "squeeze till just before death" policy will give no chances for peace, which again what Israel wants, because without peace only Israel can keep on occupying Palestinian lands in Gaza and West Bank and fattening the settlements there. |

A bunch of settlers in Hebron have vandalized a mosque by spraying ‘Death to Arabs’ and an insult to the Prophet Muhammad on the wall. “Jewish settlers protesting against an official Israeli eviction order have desecrated Muslim buildings in the flashpoint West Bank town of Hebron. They sprayed "Death to Arabs" and an insult to the Prophet Muhammad on a mosque wall and vandalized a cemetery.” Source |

Here is a transcript of his speech in Sderot during the summer, click 'read more' to read the full transcript. OBAMA: Today, Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Fayad, when I was in Ramallah, earlier. The threats to Israel security begin in Sderot, but they don't end there. They include outrageous acts of terror like the attack we just saw yesterday in Jerusalem. Rearming Hezbollah in Lebanon and an Iranian regime that sponsors terrorism, pursues nuclear weapons and threatens Israel's existence. A nuclear Iran would pose a grave threat and the world must prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. |

The state of Israel can not defend its policies, it’s an evil country committing crimes. Since they can not defend their point of view they attack the persons that are showing that the emperor has no clothes, and making a personal attack is the easiest thing. Former IOF captain Reuven Schossen Reuven Schossen is an Israeli political refugee, harassed by security services across several continents since he chose to leave his home country in disgust at the corrupt practises of Israel's leaders. In regards to Zionism, Schossen says it is our responsibility to stand up to Israel. "If you keep quiet, you are helping them". |

Why does Israel continue to build settlements on the west bank and continue its expansionist policies? The ultimate goal is to capture all of ‘Eretz Israel’. The ‘Promised Land’ extends from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates. It includes parts of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, a bit of Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Yasser Arafat always used to keep an Israeli coin in his pocket showing Israel with the ‘Eretz Israel’ borders, to remind people that they shouldn’t be fooled by the Zionists, as they have no defined borders and continue to expand their land. |

Apparently, the skeleton of a female healer dating back to 12,000 years ago has been found at a cave in northern Israel, along with a human foot, 50 tortoise shells and the pelvis of a leopard. Other items found in the grave included the wing tip of a golden eagle, the tail of a cow, two marten skulls and a bone from a wild boar. Is it wrong to laugh? Sounds a lot like Masada except a lot more ridiculous. Source |

A lot of people try to tell you the conflict started in 1948, this is not true, it started when the Zionist ideology started and this was in the late 19th century. Jews and Arabs lived side by side peacefully, before the Zionists mass migrated, so you have to ask, do the Arabs really hate Jews? Or do they just want to return to their land that was stolen in broad daylight and live in peace? A popular line, from Zionists is that the ‘Hebron Massacre’ is proof that the Arabs just hate the Jews and that it is nothing to do with Israel, well it’s called the 1929 revolt, I can understand why there is a need to fake and change names, it been repeated many times during history, mostly to try to gain sympathy and throw the blame on the victim. Arabs did not forget 1929 revolt, but it seems the Zionists did, first because they do not know its name, second because it has been mentioned many times, there has been an investigation done too.
67 Jews were killed in the 1929 revolt, as Zionists sources say, but they always fail to mention the 153 Arabs who been killed in the event, do you know why? If not I will be glad to tell you
So if the Zionists say the Arabs have been massacred there, then they might be more accurate. |

Ehud Barak, the certified Zionist war criminal, is threatening to turn Gaza Strip into a full-fledged concentration camp. Last week, the Israeli war minister who is believed to be responsible for the murder of hundreds of Palestinian children during the first few months of the Aqsa Intifada in 2000 and 2001, disclosed a new policy toward the Gaza Strip resembling very much the manner in which the Nazi authorities treated Jews in the course of World War II. Barak said he would make sure that very little food and medicine will be allowed to reach Gaza. He also said that Israel would cut off electricity supplies to the hermetically blockaded costal enclave which already looks very much like a concentration camp. For those who don’t know, Barak has a long history of criminality and murderousness toward the Palestinians. In 1998, when he wanted to impress the Israeli public to elect him as Prime Minister, he had to remind them of the most graphic details of one of his murderous missions in Beirut. |

The term refers to Halabja massacre of the Kurdish people by chemical weapons in the town of Halabja north of Iraq in the province of As-Sulaymaniya. It took place in the area of Iraqi Kurdistan during the Iran-Iraq war which lasted for four days (16-19 March 1988) following the fall of the city the day before, in the hands of the rebels of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) of M. Jalal Talabani, supported by Guardians of the Iranian revolution. Thousands of Kurdish civilians, have died following the attack chemical perpetrated by orders of Ali Hassan al-Majid (Chemical Ali) and fighter-bombers, MiG and Mirage of the Iraqi army. This attack was carried out as part of Operation Al-Anfal, which caused the disappearance of 182 000 people and destroyed more than 90% of Kurdish villages. The Halabja massacre has not raised protests from the international community in March 1988. At the time, Iraq is an ally of big powers, they will have contented vague sentences, preventing even his conviction by sub-commission on Human Rights UN. The United States, a resolution adopted at the initiative of Senator Claiborne D. Pell was blocked by President George Bush, who even gave his consent for a new credit line of $ 1 billion. |

The BBC and foreign secretary David Miliband have seemed to U-turned on the whole Georgia issue. Miliband is calling for an investigation and the BBC is putting out videos suggesting Georgia committed war crimes, this is a welcome yet rather suspicious shift in stance from the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/review/7695956.stm |
